It consists of a metal sprung loaded and padded tripod adapter with a metal handle. The adapter comes with a lens mount that will take 37mm lenses, which can be found cheaply on ebay and gives you a quality lens inexpensively.
The metal handle has a 1/4 20 thread on the base meaning it could be attached to a tripod or gorillapod.
